Cookie Paleontologists

Today, we continued exploring paleontology as we become Cookie Paleontologists ourselves!
Thank you for completing the first portion of this flipped lesson at home.  The learners were very eager to share their knowledge today!

We began by brainstorming tools that we could use to extract as many chocolate chips as possible from a chocolate chip cookie!
We decided to use a toothpick, a q tip, paintbrushes, and all five of our senses!

We decided that a toothpick was the most helpful tool because of its sharp points.

After our extractions, we graphed the number of chocolate chips that each learner successfully removed from their cookie!
We had a great time, and especially loved eating a chocolate chip cookie at the end of the day!
